Hey friends, I need your help and advice on these two recent photos. I'm currently trying to decide on a title for each of these images and I'm seeking the creative minds of people like you. I'm interested in a title that goes along with a storyline - whatever story you can come up with - whatever these images invoke.
And one more favor to ask...which photo appeals to you more?

Hi Cro! I love how both of these came out! I think I like the 1st photo better (the sitting one). What about a title like:
ReplyDelete"Lunch Break"
or
"Housewife"
Do you want it to be a title that contrasts the image? Am I supposed to be a housewife?
Then maybe "Naptime", like the kids are asleep in the other room and I'm the dissatisfied housewife, isolated from the world, trapped by duty and gender roles (no offense intended to any homemakers, but I think the photos have a dark moody feel, so they need something ironic/sarcastic to go with them).
Or something like: "Remembering where I thought I'd be at 30" or "I thought I'd be an astronaut."
Or something darker like: "I wonder if he'd notice the taste of almonds."
Hey, nice! So I like the second best, although I really like the lighting in the first photo how it cuts across the face. My first (dorky) thought when I looked at the first photo was "lady in waiting". Michael thought "kitchen noir" for the first and "kitchen noir two" for the second. I'm thinking about the second....

Nice pics! Most interesting. MY first thought the moment I looked at pic one was "lady in waiting" for the second, after some thought, "15 to Life" I like the lighting on the first picture, but like the second picture overall for the feeling it captures.
ReplyDeleteI think the bottom picture should be the first picture because she is washing the dish that is drying in the top picture. In the bottom picture she hears a knock on the door. Knowing who it is she turns wanting to open it. In the top picture the decision made is the right one but leaves
ReplyDeleteher in a dark lonely place. The light shining through is a symbol of hope that soon she will be out of that dark place.
I like the top picture because if you sit still even in a dark place you will soon be in the light
